The Friday 56: Shutter Island

The Friday 56 is hosted by Tonya at Story Time With Tonya and Friends. To join in, follow these rules:
- Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
- Turn to page 56.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.

- Post a link along with your post back to Tonya's blog.
- Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the closest!

Book: Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane
Genre: Mystery/Thriller
"The hills rose steadily, each one higher than the last, until they gave way to the jagged cliff, and Teddy could see cuts in the hills and oblong holes in the side of the cliff."

On a sidenote, Crazy-for-Books is hosting the Book Blog hop! It is a fantastic way to discover some new book blogs and get yours noticed. Head on over to add your blog to the link list!

YAY! Glad to see someone else reading this now....I read it prior to the movie release and yes, it is quite a ride. Can't wait to see what you think! Thanks for sharing! Happy reading! =0)

Woah, the descriptions are definitely unique. You always pick such interesting books! I don't think I'll pick this one up because it's a mystery/thriller (not exactly my type), but I hope you enjoy and I'll be looking forward to hearing your thoughts. :D
