It's Monday! What are you reading? (2)

This is a weekly meme that used to be hosted at J. Kaye's Book Blog but is now hosted at Book Journeys. You talk about the books you've read last week, and what you've moved on to this week.

Last week:
I finally finished reading Animals by Don LePan on Friday. Yesterday, I posted my review on it! I have to say, I really enjoyed it. It's definitely not a light read, but I recommend it for sure. It's one of those books that you will never forget!

This week:
I recently started Killer Mousse by Melinda Wells. It's a combination of two things that I really enjoy - cooking shows and murder mysteries! I'm about half way through and it's pretty entertaining so far. Not the best writing in the world, but I didn't expect to be blown away. The storyline is suspenseful and mysterious, of course. I'm excited to finish it and find out the truth!

I'll most likely be done Killer Mousse in the next couple of days. After that, I'm going to move on to the next book in the series called Death Takes the Cake. It should be good!

And that's what I'll be up to this week. How about you?

I haven't read much (or any) mystery novels, but one that combines cooking and murder might just be something I'd enjoy. Hope the ending is satisfying!
