Teaser Tuesdays (4)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
Be careful not to include spoilers!
- Share the title and author, too.

Book: A Table by the Window
Author: Lawana Blackwell

"There were other things she missed about Tallulah. Sharing a dinner table with family. Returning neighbors' waves while leaving for work. Hearing owls at night. The aromas of pine trees and chimneys and sweet olive blossoms"

Such a descriptive line. And I've to say that the simplicity of the cover really caught my interest. Wondering what this book is about? Are you going to review it?

I like that a lot - it really does evoke all the little details one thinks of when missing home.
