No books for me...

I had it all planned out - I was going to go to the library this afternoon, take out a pile of books, and write my IMM post! But it seems both of the libraries I usually visit are closed this Sunday. So terrible!

So, I'll have to wait another day to satisfy my craving. While we're on this topic, are there any books you'd recommend that come to mind right now? I never know what books to take out while I'm at the library. I know that sounds kind of silly, but there are obviously so many choices, and I guess it's a bit overwhelming. If you have any books that you'd like to see me read, please don't hold back! I need some suggestions so I can at least pretend to have a purpose while I'm there. Fire away!

Have you read Hunger Games and Catching Fire? Must reads. Suzanne Collins

Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld.

That's too bad that the library was closed when you were planning to go.

Have you read The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak? You might enjoy that one or Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver.

I second The Book Thief. You must read that one.

Bummer! I'm reading Infinite Days right now and am really enjoying it, it's such a new and interesting take on vampires. Definitely worth reading! Have fun at the library tomorrow!

Emidy, you must read Still Alice by Lisa Genova or a Novel in Verse by Lisa Schroeder

Oh that's weird.. I wonder why they were closed today? As for books... I'm reading Starvation Lake right now and it's pretty good so maybe that one, lol.

Oh no! Nothing like a reader spurned...
I just finished The Ghost and the Goth. It was surprisingly cute.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll try to look for The Book Thief especially, because I've been wanting to read that one for a while. Still Alice also sounds like a good one. I'll try to find that too!

I keep a digital TBR list on Goodreads and refer to it whenever I feel lost. Good luck :)

Love reading everyone's suggestions. Had not heard of the Book Theif before, but I looked it up online and now I HAVE to read it.

I'm with Jenny - Starvation Lake was good.

Juju - I should really start doing that! I have a goodreads account, but I only use it to post reviews.

Sharilyn - Doesn't The Book Theif sound amazing? I've got to read it! I'll check out Starvation Lake, too.
