You know, I feel like I've been neglecting my blog a bit lately. I was gone for almost three days, and I haven't posted a review in a while. Believe it or not, there is a reason! Over the weekend, I didn't get the chance to read a lot because I was doing stuff all day. Terrible, I know. Hopefully I'll be done The Almond Picker today or tomorrow, and I'll be able to review it and move on to some new books. (Speaking of which, I have absolutely no unread books at home. Isn't that amazing?)
On top of that, school is starting tomorrow. I cannot contain my enthusiasm. My first semester is very heavy, and that brings along certain implications. First of all, I'll be focusing on a whole different genre of book - textbooks, yay! Because of that, I'll probably be reading less and posting less reviews. This kills me, but blogging sadly isn't my priority right now. Oh, how I wish it was!
I make it sound like I'm leaving you all forever, but I'm not. I'll still try to visit most of you every day, read whenever I can, and blog when I get the chance. My schedule will be tight, but I'm still here!

Ahhhh I miss you already.
But I totally understand.
Good luck!
*hugs*
I second what Juju said....I will miss your posts like no other :(
I will, however, remain your faithful follower! Enjoy school and such...I can't wait to read your review of The Almond Picker :)
Oh man, summer is over and back to school for you.
Won't it be great if we could blog as a career and get paid for it.
See you when you stop by to say hi.
The last few months I had been struggling to put up a post on my blog with all that was going on. And each time I had to neglect I felt miserable. And then when I took the two-week vacation, I felt truly good and realized that I've been pushing myself to meet my own deadlines on something I started for fun. Just want to tell you - don't feel bad, we'll always be here. Feel free to step away from your blog when things get crazy, you don't want to feel this is a job too.
That said - have FUN at school. I'm missing school so much that the idea of a PhD is swinging through my neurons now. LOL!
Don't worry, Em... we'll all be here for you! School is a major priority! I know how you feel about wanting to blog more than you can... I'm in the same boat!
Have fun in school! How I wish I could go back to being 18 or 19 and having the time of my life in college!
I understand completely. I've recently started grad school and my assigned reading and other homework is already impacting my free reading and blogging.
Everyone needs a break sometimes! You have such a lovely blog that your readership will be loyal in a slight hiatus I am sure!
I completely understand, Emidy. I'm about to start graduate school so I'll have to cut back myself. But don't worry; no matter how often you post we'll still be here!
Best of luck on the start of school! No worries on the blog and visits...we'll still be here when you have a chance. ^_^ (Definitely there with you on the lack of reading the past few days....for some reason life just kept getting in the way...)

Your reviews and posts will be missed but school is important, and once you get into the swing of things I am sure you will be back posting perhaps not as regularly, but enough for all your followers (myself included) to get their Una Parole fix.
What?? "Doing stuff" instead of reading books? As a writer, I must reprimand you!
But best of luck on your semester.
Aw, thanks so much everyone! I love and appreciate all the sweet comments. The work load is already very heavy, and I miss blogging so much!
I know what you mean about neglect - I also feel like I've been majorly neglecting my blog and it makes me feel HORRIBLE, but my life's been crazy hectic in the past two months and I've barely had any spare time! So I can definitely understand you, no worries! And what, you're EXCITED about school? Whoa, that's a first! ;)))
